June in Italy is hot!

It was 100 degrees the other day and the humidity made it feel even worse. I have been resting a lot because I had a rough week. First Mom takes me to the vet and my heart is doing well. But the tech messed with my ears and I cried. Just a little.
The on Friday I scratched my cornea and went back to the vet. So now I have a cone and eye medicine. Next week I am taking it easy. The good news is I had my blood test for my EU Pet Passport. Soon I will be able to travel back and forth to the US and EU!
Here are some pictures of Mt Vesuvius, Sorrento, some ruins in Corto and my new friend Athena wearing my leather jacket.

Sorrento!

Mom and Dad took me on an awesome adventure to Sorrento. It is beautiful and very dog friendly. We ate an a English/Italian pub. The food was so good and the staff was nice.
Here is a dorky picture of Mom sitting out front.

I found out this is what Mom was really looking at.

Beautiful small street with lots of stores:)

Ummm Helllooo..hungry down here!

Italian Tiles

Sorrento inlayed wood. Mom said this reminded her of when she used to work at the Music Box Company

More to come later...I must take my 5th nap of the day :)

MY AUNT Catfrome

She is my favorite. She doesn't boss me around like Mom does. She lets me have treats and take up almost all of the bed :) She travels all over and helps people. cannot wait to see her again!

Amalfi Coast

http://www.amalfiscoast.com/

We did a rainy day driving tour of the coast. The roads were very twisty with a steep drop off but that didn't keep us from checking out the sites. Here are some pictures that really do not do it justice. You will have to come check it out for yourselves!

I was all done after all the sightseeing :)

New place and Downtown Naples

Here is a busy Downtown Napoli street in the evening.

Here is one of my new porches. Lot's of sun spots. I could sit out here all day.

While Mom was still sick we drove around close to home. The drivers are crazy but Mom said that California has helped her prepare for the chaos here. She got a new camera for her birthday so plan on seeing lots of pictures. She has already taken many of me. You will see my reaction to it in most of the pictures. Not thrilled.

Beautiful building but Mom cut out the graffiti from below. Like any other crowded city Naples(and surrounding areas)have graffiti and trash in a lot of places.
While it takes away from the beauty it does not cancel it out. There is so much to see, tour and eat. Most places Mom and Dad can bring me into the store. Even an electronics store this past week. Crazy!

Nica puppeh dogga!

My first compliment from a nice Italian gentleman and then he gave me some of his pastry. It was heavenly. I have perfected my pitiful face and the Italians have fallen for it!

I have met a bunch of people and a few dogs. I do look forward to my friends and family visiting.
